Jefferson County ~ conveniently located 20-30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis attractions. You’ll want to stay a bit away from the big city and relax in our close by motels. While you’re here, enjoy our wide array of dining options, plan a day trip for unique boutique shopping in the lovely river town of Kimmswick or stay overnight after enjoying one of many popular festivals and Jefferson County winery venues ranging from rustic to elegant. Get outside and take your pick of the many family-friendly parks and trails, including Mastodon State Park in Imperial, which will wow you with its interpretative trails, picnic sites and museum.

We also host a major tourist event yearly, The Bottleneck Bridge Ride. This ride usually takes place in August. Come catch a glimpse at the eclectic blend of country and small-town life encompassed in multiple routes of 10, 25, 33, 40 and 67-mile to enjoy on your bike.
